That doesn't look like a good sign for 'Life'...
But I am happy about 'Southland'.
*runs off cursing NBC*

In addition, I hate Jay Leno. And NBC executive Ben Silverman.
They ruined my Wednesday night.

This brought the biggest smile to my face. How have I never seen this before? I am shocked. And incredibly amused.

This, albeit highly unlikely, casting spoiler would make my heart explode with happiness if it were true.

A lot.

Repeatedly even.

...Please?

But with "A Doll's House' (starring with Christopher Eccleston!) and other amazing productions, I am REALLY doubting its foundation in truth. But you have to dream, right?

Yeah, the 'Life' episode "One" demands to be reviewed:

Its been FOREVER since I have posted (due to spring break and other school related craziness), but I couldn't pass up one particular bit of news... BECAUSE GILLIAN ANDERSON AND CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON ARE BOTH IN THE PLAY 'A DOLL'S HOUSE' !

Sorry about that, but I think my brain just exploded. That is the awesomeness part. The fail part (or also the awesomeness part if you are promoting or producing this play, but anyway...) is that the tickets are sold out. FAIL.

Well, I can't wait to hear how fabulous this will OBVIOUSLY be. I would also like to see many, many pictures. Please?

As the result of reading a fabulous Life/Standoff fanfic, I promptly watched the first three episodes of the latter (OMG I LOVE YOU NIXON MATT), while trying to make the new episodes last. In sum, Standoff is my new favorite show.

In addition, BULL, WHY ARE YOU SO AMAZING, AND SAVE SMALL CHILDREN IN HOSTAGE SITUATIONS BY JUMPING ON THEM IN BATHTUBS? OH RIGHT, BECAUSE YOU ARE BULL. HOW SILLY OF ME.

I was watching Pearl Harbor last night (don't hate me, but it was on A&E and I adore all WWII stories...and I bitched all the way through it), BUT the parachute sex scene is now my favorite part, resulting from a conversation with my roommate. We decided that those were the same parachutes that would be sent for Easy Company to use and that poor Winters' parachute was the one that endured the sexy tiems. Poor Dick. So to remedy that fact, Winters and Nixon had sex on it. Frequently. And then Welsh ended up with the very same parachute sometime later (I know that makes no sense, but go with it) and is the exact same one he had in Normandy and eventually gave to Kitty for her wedding dress. Also, if Speirs was stationed in Pearl Harbor the Japanese planes would have stopped and turned around, surrendering, in turn ending WWII.

I went to see The Boy in the Striped Pajamas today (another WWII/concentration camp centered film), and was inappropriately struck by laughter when German utensils were shown (damn you Welsh and Winters collecting Hitler's best silverware). As a side note, the film was interesting and offered a different perspective, though no truly new ideas were presented within the film. You should still go see it though.

I haven't posted in days, but with a few free hours today (which I wasted taking BoB quizzes...) I thought I should share.

Anyway:

I have been reading up more about PETA recently and I wanted others to see this:

WARNING: IT IS VERY GRAPHIC.

I am so upset about this. To read more (from the Humane Society): http://www.hsus.org/marine_mammals/protect_seals/about_the_canadian_seal_hunt/

I tried writing this review while re-watching the episode ("Hit Me Baby")... so it seems more like random quotes and notes at points, but whatever.

Really long review thing )

Jamie Bamber, you are now my favorite person. Not only are you an amazing actor with a fabulous sense of humor, but you support PETA.

Ohhh, Malarkey, I love you!

Also, this is one of those amazing fanfic stories that reminds you why you bother to read all of those random, less than fabulous ones:
http://likethesun2.livejournal.com/23196.html#cutid1
(I should mention that religion is a major factor, but as a non-religious individual, I thought it was handled fabulously.)

Here are some random questions from a Band of Brothers meme, that I wanted to share. Random I know, but that is what I do.

"Sobel's a genius. I had a headmaster in prep school who was just like him. I know the type."

Lew, Michaelangelo's a genius. Beethoven's a genius. )

This is probably the best collection of BoB picspams ever:

(This one is for Doc Roe)
If you haven't looked at any of these, you are truly missing out... if only for the commentary.

Also, this fic is hilarious. And possibly more amusing than it should be...

Yes, a five-year old did write this. And there was a lot of time wasted on me trying to explain to their mother why the man in the picture was naked.... so I hope you enjoy it!

Tonight's episode of Life was like crack fanfic. I love it. "Bapple" (I think I may review it tomorrow... one should always wait to write reviews until the joy of something new passes.... right?)

But I can't let Winter's Birthday pass without anything, so enjoy:

And this is why Damian Lewis is a stripper.
